Don 'Ringo' Jack (a diehard Beatles fan) was the group's percussionist from
2003 to 2007, during which time he served as an active duty Captain in the Air Force.
Starting with early school days, Don played the drums for over 26 years in concert band, marching band and jazz band settings. In Florida he received the statewide John Phillip Sousa award as a top high school percussionist. A percussionist of great enthusiasm and sensitivity, Don always supported the group well. In personal as well as musical ways, he created harmony among us all. Don was reassigned to another Air Force location. He and his lovely wife Tammi and their son Donald will always be fondly remembered. |
